Cleaner
SCHOOL: Harefield Primary School
HOURS: 12.5 hours per week - 52 weeks per year. Hours will be 5:30-8:00am Monday – Friday
SALARY: GRADE 1
CLOSING DATE: Friday 8th July 2022 – 12 noon
INTERVIEW DATE: Wednesday 13th July 2022
START DATE: Monday 18th July 2022 or as soon as possible
JOB/PERSON SUMMARY:
Here at Harefield we take great pride in our school and we are looking for a cleaner who shares our passion. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of cleaning within our school whilst maintaining good hygiene levels and following our Health, Safety and Hygiene policies. Predominately you will be working on your own but there will be times that you will work as a team depending on the task.
Key Tasks
- Cleaning
- Ordering and managing resources (equipment, materials, stock, etc.)
- To use powered equipment (e.g. vacuum cleaners, polishers) where appropriate
- To contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for pupils and adults, adhering to all Health and Safety regulations and requirements
- Manage quality
This is a 52 week per year contract so working in the school holidays is required. However as a team we plan holiday cleaning to ensure we achieve and maintain standards without having to work every day during the holidays.
