Harefield Primary is in the Edwin Jones Partnership of Hamwic Education Trust (HET); a large, fast-paced multi-academy trust with currently 37 schools across the South Coast: Portsmouth, Southampton, Poole and Dorset.

Role Summary:

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistant who can work flexibly across the primary school age range. Someone who can be deployed to release teachers for PPA time and planned absences as well as someone who is flexible enough to support classes during periods of unplanned absence. This is a permanent appointment.

We are seeking a professional individual who:

• Has achieved their Higher-Level Teaching Assistant Status or someone who is willing to undertake this qualification as the next step in their career.
• Has experience of working in a primary setting.
• Has experience of working with SEN children in an educational setting.
• Has good knowledge of engagement in learning and differentiation.
• Is an excellent team player who can actively support teachers in delivering planned lessons on a regular basis.
• Is committed and passionate and wants to make a positive impact on children’s lives
• Can build positive relationships with children and adults
• Is dedicated to making a real difference to the lives of children
• Is committed and enthusiastic towards all areas of school life, engaging and working in partnership with staff, parents and children alike
