School Lunches
Our School Lunch Provider City Catering – Food For Good, is a not-for profit catering organisation – the first of its kind in the UK. They are, by design, a values-led charity operating ethically, sustainably, with the wellbeing of their people and community at heart. They established their charitable status in 2015 and this year they proudly celebrate their 10 year anniversary.
Their overarching objective is to make a tangible, nutritional, difference in people’s lives. Children and nutrition are the heart of what they do, and as such, their charity’s surplus funds are channelled into community projects, their Cooking at Home programme, addressing food poverty, particularly where that affects children.
They believe great quality food, served with kindness and care, is what really matters. Everyone deserves the best possible nourishment. So, they focus all of their attention on delivering ‘nutritionally dense’ school lunches that tastes good, providing choice, and a range of flavours to suit different communities, regional preferences, and dietary needs.
